his latest release cusp // journals is a transatlantic collaboration with frameworks, indicative of the creativity and collaboration that fuels murge’s journey. born of both artists’ desire to perform live again and as a way of honouring the many venues they, and so many of us, find sanctuary in. this joint release is a testament to and celebration of packed dance floors and late night tales. “these tracks are the culmination of many late night conversations and studio sessions shared back and forth online between frameworks and I,” murge says, “a tribute to the club nights and venues that influenced and shaped our careers and sound”. and what a sound; downtempo, organic house fuses with moody sonic textures to create sublime dancefloor grooves. proceeds of the release will be donated to the venues that shaped each artist.
